Chef Cameron

Chef Cameron started in food preparation while still in high school at Chops Steak & Seafood restaurant and bar in downtown Sacramento. He excelled as an intern for them for a short time and once his talent was recognized, he was quickly hired on. As a young apprentice, chef worked his way up to lead line while still in school and, after graduation, became Sous Chef and worked full time. When Chops opened another restaurant in Folsom, our Chef Cameron was asked to be the Executive Sous chef of the Sacramento location. He continued to be celebrated there for five more years until he was offered the executive chef position at Arden Hills Resort. Chef accepted the role and ran all food facilities on the resort site. Chef Cameron cooked and led his extensive staff there for over two years until Wood’ys came calling.
